Staff Accountant- Full Time

Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all bank, credit card and cash reconciliations
  • Enter Accounts Payable
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
  • Develop Inventory Management Process with cross checks and monthly reconciliations
  • Prepare sales tax returns as required
  • Manage travel and other related expenses as needed
  • Interact with external vendors as needed
  • Perform monthly financial close activities that include the update and maintenance of General Ledger, AP and AR and accrued accounts.  This includes analysis of account variances and reporting of results to management
  • Develop annual budgeting process with quarterly reports for variance control
  • Create Sales Forecast models

Qualifications: 

  • Candidate must be highly organized and have an extraordinary eye for detail.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting with sufficient experience to sit for the CPA exam (A CPA license is not required for this position)
  • 2 + years minimum related experience
