Microsoft Relies on eMazzanti in NYC Area and Beyond

Stijn Hendrikse Microsoft Office SMB on value of partners

Hoboken, New Jersey - December 31, 2010 –In an effort to stay in touch with its IT support partners and customers, Microsoft’s Stijn Hendrikse, Director SMB, records a video as part of an eMazzanti Technologies visit. The video captures Hendrikse’s explanation of the critical role partners like eMazzanti play in representing the software OEM to end users.

Microsoft Relies on eMazzanti

“Microsoft is a software factory that essentially builds intellectual property (IP),” notes Hendrikse. “Premiere partners like eMazzanti create and maintain vital relationships with small and medium size customers. Something that Microsoft simply can’t do by itself.”

Hendrikse works as Director SMB in the Microsoft Office team.  His team is responsible for marketing and selling Microsoft Office in the worldwide Small & Medium Business segment (up to ~250 employees).  Microsoft Office sales in this segment represent a multi-billion dollar revenue stream and represents a major growth opportunity with many customers still using Office 2003 or older.

Hendrikse’s team has also been focusing on cloud computing in 2010. Cloud technologies now make it much easier to provide enterprise capabilities to smaller businesses at their own pace and terms.  Before moving to the U.S. Hendrikse managed both the consulting and Public Sector sales business for Microsoft in the Netherlands. Before that, he worked for Microsoft partners for the better part of his career.

NYC and Beyond

eMazzanti Technologies not only services customers in the greater New York City, but across the globe as many have branch offices or otherwise conduct business offshore. eMazzanti has optimized its ability to remotely provide care and feeding to customer networks or use various partner and vendor alliances to ensure high-echelon service.

“The workplace has been re-defined as anywhere, anytime,” comments Hendrikse. “Having partners like eMazzanti that can act locally and globally is vital to Microsoft being able to help small businesses enjoy enterprise-level technology at an affordable price point.”
